Corrina Grimes

Bio

Corrina Grimes is a seasoned healthcare leader and innovator with over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, academia, research, public health, and government roles. As an Atlantic Fellow at the Global Brain Health Institute, she has been dedicated to reducing the impact of dementia through a life course approach to brain health.

Corrina's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition with Dietetics and a Master of Science in Inter-professional Health and Social Care Management from Queens University, Belfast. She has also completed modules in the Post GraduateDiploma in Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London

Areas of interest

Prior to her current venture, Corrina served as the National Deputy Director for NHS England, where she advised on strategic initiatives, led policy development, and oversaw the implementation of health care policies. 

 

What you hope to achieve from the programme?

Corrina held the position of Allied Health Professions Consultant and Palliative Care ClinicalLead at the Public Health Agency. In this role, she influenced health policy and strategies, including the Programme for Government and Department priorities. She also initiated and implemented an award-winning Nutrition andMedicines Management service, resulting in improved clinical outcomes and £1.3M cost savings within the first year. Corrina aims to further her knowledge of these sectors while on the DigiBio Programme.
