Bio
Emily is a clinical researcher with a focused on digital health in neurodegenerative disease. My background is in neuropsychology, and she graduated with a BA(Hons) in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh where I remained to complete my PhD in Neuroscience. Emily recently completed a postdoc at Trinity College in Dublin, where she explored the use of speech as a way to evaluate cognitive changes.
Areas of Interest
Emily is interested in how technology can bring new opportunities to the healthcare environment, streamlining existing processes and changing the way we evaluate treatments. She is particularly interested in the potential for integration of digital technologies into clinical trials
What You Hope to Achieve During the Programme
Through the DigiBio HealthTech Innovation Programme, Emily is excited about working with a diverse team of people with similar goals, but different backgrounds and ways of thinking. Emily is looking forward to the opportunity to personally drive innovation and build something from the ground up that has the potential to positively impact healthcare.
